Larry & Ruth Kolb
Valdosta, GA

Ruthie and I bought this car in July of 1985. The car originally was a six cylinder springtime yellow convertible. After purchasing the car and researching the VIN number, we discovered that the car was built in Ruthie's home town,  Metuchen New Jersey. Prior to moving to Valdosta in 1975, we lived approximately five miles from that assembly plant.

Since the car was a solid rust free car, no body work was necessary. However we decided to have it repainted an original Mustang color, candy apple red, in 1992.  In 1997 we acquired a 289 coupe parts car.  Using those parts I converted the car a 289 V8.  The engine was removed in 1999 for a complete rebuild.  In 2000 Vintage Air conditioning was added.

No other modifications are planned at this time. We are enjoying entering the car in  car shows and nice weather top down cruising.
